BBBS McKean Quarterly Group Activity

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford’s Student Nursing Organization hosted a group event for The Guidance Center’s Big Brothers Big Sisters Program on March 25th. The theme of the event was ‘Healthy Habits Make Happy Kids’. Elk and McKean County Bigs, Littles, and Parents had fun while rotating between interactive stations to promote mind and body wellness, exercise, personal and dental hygiene, bicycle safety and first aid, and nutrition. Personal care gift bags were given to all Littles who attended the event.

Big Brothers Big Sisters would like to thank the Student Nurses Organization for their donations of hygiene products, the pizza lunch, and their time spent with our program participants. Forty-two children in your community are waiting for a volunteer mentor.
