BBBS Elk Quarterly Group Activity

BBBS Visits Kinzua Bridge State Park and Visitor Center

The Guidance Center’s Elk and McKean Big Brothers Big Sisters Program held their fall group event on October 29th at The Kinzua Bridge State Park and Visitor Center in Mount Jewett. DCNR Environmental Education Specialist, Holly Dzemyan led the group in a combined tour and scavenger hunt throughout the center. Participants presented Mount Jewett Volunteer Fire Department members with thank you cards, to recognize them for their service as a part of ‘National Make A Difference Day’. Fire department members entertained the group by giving an interactive demonstration of their truck and fire safety equipment.
