Big Brothers Big Sisters is a prevention program. There is no public funding source to support ongoing provision of prevention programs. Sustainable funding to continue to operate Big Brothers Big Sisters in Jefferson, Elk, and McKean Counties is critically dependent on local funding generated through a variety of sources, including an Annual Mail Campaign, Bowl For Kids’ Sake Events, Dress Down Days, and individual donations.
